The Kano ADP Governorship candidate and a Member of the House of Representatives, Municipal Federal Constituency, Honourable Shaaban Ibrahim Sharada has felicitated with the NNPP Presidential candidate and two term Governor of Kano state Engineer Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso who celebrated his 66th birthday on the 21st October 2022.
Honourable Shaaban Ibrahim Sharada made the statement in a release issued to newsmen by the Gubernatorial Campaign Council in Kano.
Shaaban Ibrahim Sharada noted that Kwankwaso’s landmark achievement as Governor of Kano State between 1999 and 2003 and 2011 to 2015 is something to reminisce about especially in the aspect of human and infrastructural development.
Kwankwaso’s foreign scholarship is one of the good policies I copied from the past Governors of Kano state such as Malam Ibrahim Shekarau’s human development and other Infrastructures.
From 2015 to date and as member of the house of representatives, I embarked on the empowerment of nearly one hundred thousand Youth and Women on various skills for self reliance.”said Sharada
“Again about 100 children of the less previlege were opportuned of getting sponsorship to Sudan for study in their chosen disciplines through Shaaban Ibrahim Sharada foundation.
The candidate said he did all these with the little funds at his disposal .”
The Governoship candidate pointed out that the empowerment and sponsorship was solely his effort and no grant from the state’s resources.
He promised to embark on more educational reforms including foreign scholarship when he wins 2023 general elections. He also promised to rejuvenate the tertiary institutions at home with adequate manpower and learning materials.
The ADP Governorship also challenged some of his opponents on their achievements especially on foreign scholarship for the children of the less previleged.
“On behalf of ADP’S Millions of supporters, my family, Gubernatorial Campaign Council and people of Municipal federal Constituency we wish to congratulate Engineer Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso on the occasion of his 66th birthday”.
He commended Kwankwaso for instituting Sadaqa jariya for his father, prayed to the Almighty Allah to guide him and repose the soul of his father, the late Majidadin Kano.
