The Nigerian Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Professionals Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital branch will donate dressing packs to Burns and Plastic patients at Murtala Specialists next week as part of their activities marking 2022 World Burns Week
.
According to the statement signed by the Chairman of the Association stated that the Theme of this Year’s World Burns Week: Walk Out Burns , will commence between Tuesday to Thursday.

The team of medical professionals and specialists in the treatment and care of Burns, Plastic and Reconstructive Patients will give a health talk on the Causes of Burns , Prevention and First Aid as well as the Roles of physiotherapists in the treatment of Burns at the Ante Natal Clinic and Immunization Units of Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital on Tuesday by 10:00 am.
The team will then pay an advocacy visit to the Management of Murtala Specialists Hospital and the Burns Ward of the hospital where they will donate dressing packs to the patients on Wednesday.
The statement added that on Thursday,it will moved to Government Girls Secondary Schools Maikwatashi in Sabon Gari Kano, Federal Government College ,Zaria Road , Kano and Intercontinental School in Farm Centre Tarauni to create awareness on the prevention of burns and the best way to treat burns when it happens to the students and teachers of the schools.
