NAHCON Announces 2025 Hajj Private Tour Operators: 10 Lead Companies Selected

The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has announced the selection of 118 Private Tour Operators (PTOs) qualified to participate in the 2025 Hajj operations, with 10 lead companies chosen in line with Saudi Arabia’s directives.

This development follows a rigorous screening process, as disclosed in a statement signed by Fatima Sanda Usara, Assistant Director, Information and Publications Division, on behalf of the Chairman/CEO of NAHCON, Professor Abdullahi Saleh Usman.

The 10 lead companies were selected from three zones: four from Kano, three from Abuja, and three from Lagos. These companies will spearhead the operations under Saudi Arabia’s requirement that each lead operator register a minimum of 2,000 pilgrims for Hajj visa approval.

The decision to streamline the number of lead PTOs aligns with recent Saudi directives to reduce the number of PTOs from 20 to 10. This was earlier announced by Prince Anofi Olanrewaju Elegushi, a Commissioner at NAHCON, during an interactive session with private tour operators.

This streamlined structure aims to enhance efficiency and ensure compliance with Saudi Arabian standards for the upcoming Hajj season. Pilgrims are advised to make travel arrangements through these authorized operators to avoid unauthorized dealings.
