The Commissioner for Information in Kano State, Ibrahim Abdullahi Waiya, has presented a donation made by a primary school teacher to Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf during a State Executive Council meeting.
Waiya said the teacher, identified as Abubakar Musa, made the donation from his personal salary in appreciation of the governor’s efforts in improving the education sector and overall development of the state.
According to the commissioner, the gesture was aimed at supporting the administration’s initiatives, particularly in strengthening basic education across Kano State.
He noted that the teacher expressed satisfaction with ongoing reforms in the education sector and decided to contribute his quota as a sign of encouragement to the government.
The donation was formally presented to the governor during the council session, where it was received as a demonstration of public support for the administration’s policies.
