The Zamfara State Police Command has convened a high-level strategic security meeting aimed at strengthening operational effectiveness and tackling prevailing security challenges across the state.
The meeting, chaired by the Commissioner of Police, Ahmad Muhammad Bello, brought together members of the Command Management Team, Area Commanders, PMF Commanders of 42 and 78 Squadrons, the Commander of CTU Base 18, Divisional Police Officers, and Heads of Departments.
During the session, the Commissioner conveyed the message of the Inspector-General of Police, Olatunji Rilwanu Disu, who commended officers and men of the command for their resilience, dedication, and commitment to combating crime and maintaining peace in Zamfara State.
CP Bello stressed the importance of sustained synergy among security units, professionalism in the discharge of duties, and the adoption of intelligence-led policing strategies to address security concerns effectively.
He also emphasized the need for proactive operational approaches, noting that improved coordination between tactical and conventional units remains critical to enhancing policing outcomes across the state.
The meeting, according to the command, was part of ongoing efforts to strengthen internal strategies, improve collaboration, and ensure a more robust response to security threats.
The Commissioner further charged officers to remain vigilant, committed, and responsive while carrying out their constitutional responsibilities.
He reassured residents of the command’s continued determination to safeguard lives and property and maintain law and order throughout Zamfara State.
