The Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board has fixed the final fare for the 2026 Hajj at N7 million per pilgrim.
The Director-General of the board, Alhaji Abubakar Ibrahim Matawalle, announced this on Wednesday at a press briefing held at the board’s conference hall in Kano.
Matawalle also reaffirmed Aug. 25, 2026, as the deadline for registration by intending pilgrims from the state.
He urged intending pilgrims who were yet to submit their international passports to do so before the expiration of the deadline, warning that failure to meet the deadline could cause inconvenience.
The director-general called on all intending pilgrims and other stakeholders to take note of the final fare and registration deadline and ensure compliance.
He said the board remained committed to providing effective and efficient services to intending pilgrims and ensuring a smooth and successful Hajj operation.
