Minister Applauds NBAIS for infrastructural Development

The minister of education Malam Adamu Adamu has applauded the commitment of the Acting Registrar of the National Board for Arabic and Islamic Studies NBAIS Professor Mohammad Shafi’u Abdullahi and his Management team for providing adequate infrastructure in Zonal and state offices of the agency.

Malam Adamu Adamu stated this during the commissioning of the new building of the Kano state zonal office of NBAIS, held in Kano.

The minister who was Represented by the Director of Quality Assurance in the Ministry Malam Hussaini Abdullahi said providing befitting office accommodation will boost the morale of the staff, which will enhance effective service delivery.

He commended the commitment and foresight of the leadership of the agency for utilizing the agency’s resources and urged the staff to reciprocate the gesture by being dedicated and committed to their assigned responsibilities.

In his remark, the Acting Registrar of NBAIS professor Mohammad Shafi’u Abdullahi said the new building of the zonal office in kano was geared toward providing a conducive working atmosphere of the staff.

He said Kano Zone 1 office was in charge of four states which includes kano, jigawa, Kaduna, and plateau states.

” The aim is to make it easy for our staff under the zone to concentrate more on these four state’s so that the stated goals will be achieved.”

Professor Mohammad Shafi’u  Abdullahi added that the agency would not relent in ensuring adequate welfare, training and retraining of staff, to achieve effective service delivery.

Earlier the Zonal Coordinator of NBAIS Zone 1 Kano Malam Babangida Na’iya said the new office accommodation of the zonal office would play a vital role in ensuring effective service delivery.

The ceremony was graced by representatives of kano state governor , Emir of kano, and the Executive chairman Nigeria Universities commission.
