The Director General of the Drugs and Medical Consumables Supply Agency (DMCSA), Pharmacist Hisham Imamuddeen has said that dedicated and hardworking personnel are key ingredients for the success of any organization.
The director-General stated this during the presentation of awards to the serving hardworking staff of the agency.
Pharmacist Hisham said that the selection of the awardees was based on their outstanding performance and exhibition of professionalism in the discharge of their duties which, he said, had immensely contributed towards the effective discharge of the agency’s mandates and responsibilities.
He also expressed unreserved appreciation to Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje and the state Commissioner of Health, Dr. Aminu Ibrahim Tsanyawa, for always giving a listening ears and supporting the agency to discharge its responsibilities without significant hitches.
Pharm. Hisham, while congratulating the awardees for proving their worth, he called on all the staff to be more dedicated for improved performance of the agency for the benefit of the state and the citizenry.
Letters of Commendation and a token of appreciation were presented to the victorious staff.
In his remarks, as one of the awardees, a former DDS of the agency and presently the Director Pharmaceutical Services, Hospital Management Board, Pharm. Kamilu Mudi, thanked the DG for reviving the award to deserving staff adding that the initiative would improve the performance of the agency.
Other awardees include Health Attendants, Administrators, Accounts Staff, DMU and security personnel.
