JIGAWA HISBAH BOARD  ACKNOWLEDGES  MEDIA AS PARTNER IN PROGRESS

Commandant General of Jigawa State Hisbah  Board  Dr Muhammad Fa’iz Bashir  says  the progress and success of Jigawa Hisbah command  defends on reliable and accurate  News on its activities reported by the media as watchdog of the society

The Commandant General made the observation in a message to the one day in house sensitization workshop for Jigawa Hisbah Zonal Social Media handle officers organized by the Media Unit at the Board’s Headquarters in Dutse

Dr Fa’iz Bashir  said because of the importance the Board attached to the  Media,  the unit will be given all necessary support to discharge it’s duties as the  image maker of the Board

Represented by his Personal assistant ,Alhaji Muddasir  Muhammad ,the Commandant General stated that Hisbah  social media  contents must be  handle with extra care to avoid misinformation that might cause  disaffection in  the society

Dr Fa ‘iz Bashir explained that  counseling  against indecency  and social vise’s  should always be the priority of Hisbah staff which both the conventional and social media handlers  should focus on

The C G  expressed the hope that the sensitization capacity building  will be of great  benefit to the participants and the Board

Earlier in his speech  the Public Relations Officer of the Board , Dauda Muhammad Hadejia said the media Unit organized the in house workshop to enlighten the Zonal Social Media handle officers  about their duties and against unauthorized  postings  of News , Vedio and Audio on different Hisbah social media handles

He said  henceforth no Zonal or local governments Hisbah command should  post Hisbah News Vedio or Audio on any platform without  permission

The PRO stated that  a central social media handle platform will be created at the Hisbah Headquarters to control unauthorized postings

The Workshop facilitator , Engineer Adamu Musa Kore trained the participants on  how to perform their  duty to promote and save the Image of Jigawa Hisbah in  modern  Global Social Media outlook
