The Nigerian Association for Education Administration and Planning (NAEP) has donated a new power Generating set, “SUMEC Firman” brand to Race Course Model Primary School In Kano state.
Making the presentation to the management of the school, the Kano Chapter chairman of the Association, Prof. Bello A. Bello said the gesture was to aimed at alleviating the power supply shortage of the school.
“As a concerned body, NAEP noted that the school needs an additional power supply alternative for running the affairs of the school particularly in pumping portable drinking water, hence our resolved to make the donation” Prof. Bello added.
He however, appealed to the school authority to make judicious use of the Generating set so that the desired goal of the donation could be achieved.
Receiving the Generating set on behalf of the state Ministry of Education and SUBEB, the Director Academic Services of the SUBEB, Malam Musa Almu Baba expressed gratitude to NAEP for the kind gesture.
While assuring the association that the set will be judiciously utilized, he commended them for the good services they have been rendering to the state education sector, hopping that the tempo would be sustained.
