The former member representing the Nasarawa constituency at the Kano state house assembly Honourable Ibrahim Ahmad Gama (Lugard) says he has finally decamped from the All Progressive Congress to the NNPP.
Honorable Ibrahim Ahmad Gama disclosed this during an exclusive interview with Time Express Nigeria in Kano.
He said he decided to decamp from APC to NNPP due to the anomalies that were going on at the All People’s Congress party in kano.
” The manner at which the party is being run Is unconstitutional, party members were not being treated equally, many of us are being denied our rights “
Ibrahim Ahmad Gama maintained the style of leadership exhibited by the incumbent Governor of kano state who is a member of the APC is quite worrisome, civil servants are suffering, the business community are complaining, and the masses are living hand to mouth (in abject poverty)
” We can’t continue to live like this, we have to fight for change, that’s why I and my supporters decided to live the party and join the winning team so that we can salvage the people of kano from the current situation they are in.”
“All our historic monuments have been sold by the current administration, our historic Eid Ground at Kofar mata has been turned to market, plots that belong to the mosque have been sold out by this administration, these anomalies are too much we cannot take it any longer,” said Gama
The Former Lawmaker decried the lack of humility among the leadership of the Kano Government and APC.
” the APC Gubernatorial Candidate in Kano has vowed to build on what the incumbent Governor is doing, so we must fight against continuity of witnessing hardship among the people of Kano “
“we’ve made our choice and Insha Allah we will win all the seats in the state assembly, federal, senatorial, and gubernatorial come 2023.
