Hajiya Halima Zub Danbatta, Deputy State Coordinator of Arewa for Asiwaju (A4A) in Kano North, has called on members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to remain united and support the party’s candidates across all elective positions in the 2027 general elections.
Danbatta, who also serves as Assistant Director I, Women Professionals, Presidential/Governorship Campaign Council 2027, and National Deputy Women Leader of Renewed Hope Peoples Advocacy, made the appeal while emphasising party unity, loyalty and grassroots mobilisation.
She highlighted the following political leaders and prospective candidates in her appeal:
1. President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Vice-President Kashim Shettima.
2. Kano State Governor, His Excellency Abba Kabir Yusuf, and Deputy Governor Murtala Sule Garo.
3. Senator Barau I. Jibrin.
4. Senator Ibrahim Shekarau.
5. Senator Kawu Sumaila.
6. Hon. Hamisu Chidari.
7. Hon. Murtala Musa Kore.
According to Danbatta, coordinated support across the various elective positions is important to strengthening party unity and advancing the party’s political objectives.
She urged APC members, particularly women and youths across Kano North and other parts of the state, to sustain grassroots engagement and encourage eligible voters to participate in the 2027 electoral process.
The APC chieftain stressed the importance of supporting the party’s entire ticket rather than concentrating attention on only one position.
She reaffirmed her commitment to mobilising women professionals, grassroots supporters and other stakeholders ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Danbatta expressed optimism that sustained engagement, discipline and cooperation among party members would feature prominently in the party’s preparations for the elections.
