Kano MOE halts School fees increment at Kano Capital school, inaugurates ministerial Committee

Kano state Ministry of Education has directed the management of Kano Capital school to withdraw it’s intended school fees increment .

The Directives was given by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Hajiya Lauratu Ado Diso while Inaugurating a committee to verify and Review the previous reports on the Kano Capital school for implementation.

The Permanent Secretary who, assured the concerned parents of the students that the ministry will remain resolute to ensure that things are done according to the set down rules and regulations, urged them to remain calm and law abiding.

She pointed out that a ministerial committee has been constituted to verify and review the earlier reports presented to the ministry on some problems identified in the schools with a view to ensuring full implementation.

The permanent Secretary added that been Kano Capital a state owned school, the ministry will do it’s best in restoring it’s past glories.

While tasking the committee to expedite action in their given assignment for the period of one week, Hajiya Lauratu Diso, said that the ministry will not leave any stone unturned in bringing back Kano Capital school to it’s original status.

The membership of the committee comprises of the Director Special Assignment, Haruna Muhammad Fan’idau as Chairman, Kano State PTA Chairman, Sani Salisu Danhassan and Sani Salisu Kabara the Director Revenue of the Ministry as members.

Other members include the Director Educational Support Services, Hashimu M. Tukur, Assistant Director Academic Planning and Policy, Ado Abubakar, Yahaya Yakubu Umar and Naziru Mustapha.

While Abdu Sale and Abubakar Mukhtar would serve as Secretary and Co-secretary of the committee respectively.
