I have critically examined and cross examined the political permutations of Nigeria, and cross examined the systemic dynamics of our institutions. The political leanings and affiliations of our vast majority are without specific principles and or manifesto.
From 1999 when the current Democratic dispensation came on board to date, there is always a growing decay of our polity and ideals. There are always accusations and counter accusations between the leaders and the followers. The center always holds sway, while the periphery always gives in.
There have been more than eighty registered political parties in Nigeria, most of whom were not even known within their immediate locations of incubations. The citizens continue to grumble, while the key players continue to tactfully short change the desperate electorates.
There are cries and hues in almost every nook and corner of the country ranging from poverty to insecurity, to incessant kidnaps and banditry, and stark wickedness of corrupt leaders, and lackadaisical attitude of the managers of many of the political leaders at all levels and strata.
The coming up of ‘ The National Movement (TNM), is a good riddance to Nigerians at this critical material time. Looking at the galaxy of the political personalities in the TNM it portends good omen.
The likes of Professor Rufa’i Alkali, Faruk BB Faruk and Rabi’u Kwankwaso in the TNM seems to sign post seriousness and political maturity and aptitude. These are caliber of Nigerians that can usher in more hopes and succour, as well as create the much desired bridge in our political climes.

The political terrain and water are already saturated and murky, thus the need for conscious and unalloyed efforts to dust and comb the webs. The movement is expected to gather momentum and strength that will possibly provide the much desired overhaul and revamp.
There are possible challenges! The challenges of limited time, which is very critical. Then the challenges of
limited resource mobilization, (both human and material). The TNM must concentrate on establishing powerful and reliable structure at all levels.
The need for adequate and correct inclusion drive, that will encapsulate and accommodate all segments and interests. The TNM principles should be clearly defined and disseminated.
This development is a conscious departure from winner takes it all, and thus creating satisfactory and sustainable political engagements. If we are able to put Nigeria first before any considerations it will surely help much. We should allow for review and reassessments of the progress made and challenges at regular intervals.
We hope to see Nigeria revamped and propelled to greatness, which calls for all hands on deck to achieve the desired result of reaching the promised land.
This is a journey to greatness and decisive inventiveness. All are welcome on board.
Let us pray …
