A Coalition of youth Groups Under the Umbrella of Arewa Youth Alliance for Emefiele has Called on the incumbent Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria Dr. Godwin Emefiele to join the presidential race come 2023.
The team leader of the Arewa youth Alliance for Emefiele Kabir Mukhtar Hussein disclosed this during the unveiling and launching of the movement for the northwestern zone of the country, Held in Kano.
He said the reason behind the unanimous support of the Arewa youths for Dr. Godwin Emwfiele to run for the presidency was his track record, especially in the Agricultural Sector and the Economy.

Kabir Mukhtar explained that a lot of interventions have been provided by the Central Bank of Nigeria under the stewardship of Dr. Godwin Emefiele, which has impacted positively on the lives of Nigerians.
” Interventions of Ancho Borrowers, interventions of reviving the economy, especially during the Covid 19 Pandemic, youths empowerment embarked by the CBN and other critical infrastructure, at which over 60 Billion Naira in Agriculture and over 3.5 Trillion on Critical infrastructure and entrepreneurship development”
He said the movement was calling on Dr. Godwin Emefiele to join the presidential race, stressing that the group would buy the expression of interest form for him as well as the Nomination Form.
” Even though Emefiele is not aware of this movement but we are touched with the development he brought to our great country, hence we will not relent in ensuring that he join the race by all means”

The team leader added that they will source the funds for the nomination form and other campaign activities from youths who were impressed and touched by the numerous development brought by Dr. Godwin Emefiele, saying over seventy youths groups come together from the northwest to form the Alliance.
