Christian faithfuls in Zaria and environs have observed Good Friday and Easter Monday peacefully.
Our correspondent zaria who went round some churches report that this year’s festivity witnessed low turned out of worshippers due to economic.
Speaking to journalist Reverend danjuma Simon of Baptist church tudun jukun gaskiya Zaria explained that the celebration was different with some years back .
Reverend danjuma Simon attributed the lingering security challenges and economic hardship witnessed by Nigerians as some of the factors for the low turned out of worshippers.
He called on religious faithfuls to live in peace and harmony with their neighbours.
Reverend danjuma Simon charged political office holders to fear God in the discharge of their duties to reduce the difficulties face by citizens.
He stressed the need for people to continue to prayer to God to end security challenges across the country.
Reverend danjuma Simon mention that prophet Muhammad associated with Christian faithfuls at madina and promised to gave then their right according to the teaching of Qur’an and sunnah.
He expressed hope that politicians would do justice to every citizens and move the country to process .
some churche members who spoke to radio Nigeria thanked God for giving them health and wisdom to witness this year’s good Friday and Easter Monday.
