Immediate past Governor of Zamfara State, Abdulaziz Yari, Senator Kabir Marafa and other members of the Yari Camp have defected from the All Progressives Congress (APC) to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
The Zamfara PDP Chairman, Bala Mande broke the news to reporters shortly after the state executive council meeting of the party in Gusau.
“We have reached an agreement with Yari and his people,” Mr Mande told the journalists.
“We are going to work together in PDP.
“The Date and venue for the formal reception of the former Governor will be made public soon,” he added
Mr Mande, who expressed optimism of reclaiming the State, said the Party was now stronger and would work assiduously to salvage the state.
