The Peoples Democratic Party candidate for the seat of Kano state house of assembly in the forthcoming general elections Hajiya Halima Zubairu Danbatta has felicitated with the people of Danbatta Constituency, Kano state, and the nation at large on the celebrations of Democracy Day.
Honorable Halima Zubairu Danbatta stated this in a media statement made available to journalists in Kano.
She said as the nation is celebrating democracy day which is a day set aside to reflect and plan for the future political development of the nation, there was a need for citizens to maintain the tempo for a peaceful Nigeria.
Halima Zubairu Danbatta appealed to the general public to redouble their efforts in ensuring that they revalidate their voter registration cards, geared toward having the ample opportunity to exercise their constitutional rights during the election period.
