The newly appointed state commissioner for Kano state ministry For Local Government And Chieftaincy Affairs Alh Lamin Sani Zawiyya says that he would continue where his predecessor, Alh Murtala Sule Garo stopped.
Alh Lanin Sani made the disclosure today[Monday] while assuming duty as the new commissioner sworn in to steer the affairs of the ministry.
He said nothing would be achievable without the support and cooperation from the working colleagues, adding that by doing so, positive results will be yielded in the manifold.
Lamin Sani further gave assurance that he will forge ahead where the ex- commissioner Alh Murtala Garo stopped lifting the state to the pedestal of development in all ramifications.
“Staff welfare and open policy for collective advice for positive outcomes for the speedy development of the 44 LGAs of the state will be the top of preference,” He said.
The new commissioner then appreciated and commended the His Excellency the Executive governor of the state Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje and former commissioner Alh Murtala Sule Garo for this given opportunity and also pledges not to relent to be discharged from the assigned duty.
Earlier in a welcome address, the permanent secretary of the ministry Alhaji Ibrahim Ahmad Sagagi explained that the appointment and posting of Alh Lamin Sani Zawiyya to the ministry were well deserved, Apt, and timely.
Describing him as the commissioner as a full achiever given the successes recorded during his chairmanship of the Nassarawa local government area undoubtedly lifts his status to a high pedestal.
Alh. Lamin Sani Zawiyya is among the commissioners sworn in last week in a flamboyant event, presided by the executive state governor, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje.
