The People’s Democratic Party Presidential candidate, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has promised to appoint sixty percent women and youths into political offices if elected next year.
Alhaji Atiku stated this at the launching of the women wing of his campaign known as SHE 2 peace campaign led by his wife Mrs Titi Abubakar in Abuja.
The former Vice President maintained that women and children formed the strength of the voting population in the country and hence the need to prioritize their needs.
The Wife of the the People’s Democratic Party Presidential candidate Mrs Titi Abubakar said the S.H.E Campaign would mainstream issues of development, Security,Healthcare and Education, gender and age into the Atiku agenda.
Mrs. Atiku stressed that the S.HE campaign is structured to Engage about two thouy community-based Volunteer Marshalls to activate, advocate and accelerate ward to ward impact.
