The Ulama of the Tijjaniyya sect in Kano has requested the APC presidential candidate to take into cognisance the issue of enhancing security, health and education when voted as the president of the federal republic of Nigeria come 2023.
The Leader of the tijjaniya Sect in Kano Khalifa sayyadi Bashir zangon bare bari disclosed this during an interactive session with the tijjaniya sect of ulama at government house kano.
He said the tijjaniya sect have a lot of needs that the APC presidential candidate should take into consideration when elected as president.
“Our demands includes Sustainable peace across the nation, improving the agricultural sector,health and education,a med at having a peaceful Nigeria”
Khalifa Sayyadi Bashir Zangon Bare Bari maintained that the Tijjaniya sect was planning to establish a private university in kano and hoped that the APC presidential Candidate would support the move when elected.
Among the demands of the tijjaniya sect included the dredging of the River Niger, among other demands.
In a remark governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje said the Tijjaniya sect had contributed immensely in ensuring peace through endless prayers conducted for peace in kano and the nation.
Alhaji atiku bagudu governor of kebbi state who is also the chairman of APC Governors forum commended the tijjaniya sect for establishing a private university and assured their support towards ensuring that the gesture became a reality.
