Kano metropolitan was stormed by APC supporters on Sunday for one million Permanent Voter Card ( PVC)show walk for the presidential candidate of All Progressive Congress ( APC)Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu,
major roads of the ancient city were filled up with APC supporters who came from all 44 local governments of the state and beyond.
Major roads of the metropolis were closed down by security in a bid to ensure adequate security of life and properties during the one million PVC show walk.
It will be recalled the Director, Northwest Support Group of Tinubu Campaign Council in Kano, Bappa Babbaof Danagundi has on Friday ,announced that preparations for the One Million PVC Show, would be held n Sunday.
Those who particulated in the one million PVC walk will include the elderly son of the party’s Presidential candidate Seyi Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Abba Umar Ganduje, Muhammad Umar Ganduje and Dr Yusuf Nasiru Gawuna,the State governorship candidate for 2023 g, general .election
Our reporter who went around the metropolitan reports that as early as six o’clock on Sunday ,major roads in the city have been taken over by security operatives.
The party loyalists were seen wearing Tinubu’s cap and moving towards the Emir of Kano palace the venue where the procession would take off, and they proceeded to state road and terminated the professional at race course kano.
Speaking to the armor crowd at the race course governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje appealed to the party supporters to vite for APC from.TOP to BOTTOM in the forthcoming general elections.
Ganduje assured the APC presidential candidate that the kano people’s votes are for APC, saying the people have explored the dividend of democracy provided by the APC administration, hence they will not hesitate to reciprocate.
According to the governor the 1 million PVC show match has turned to over three million matches.
“This is a clear indication that the votes of kano are for Tinubu/Kashim come 2023.
