
Commandant Mohammed Lawal Falala of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Kano Command has warned personnel against molesting, manhandling, harassing, or assaulting peaceful protesters during the planned protest in Kano.
Falala stated this at a strategic meeting with management, area commanders, and divisional officers,held at the commamda headquarters in Kano.
He emphasized the importance of professionalism and respect for human life and dignity.
The Commandant directed personnel to work diligently and in synergy with other security agents, and to only intervene if the protest turns violent.
Commandant Mohammad Lawal Falal also appealed to the youths to be law-abiding and peaceful, warning against allowing criminals to penetrate their ranks.
He added that the NSCDC has deployed over 3,500 personnel to protect critical national assets ahead of the protest.
