The Jigawa State Hisbah Board

The Commandant General Jigawa state Hisbah Board Dr. Muhammad Faiz Bashir Harun, distributed New Hisbah complete uniform sets to Two Thousand Hisbah officers for the 27 Local Government areas at the Board’s Permanent Headquarters in Dutse.
Represented by Deputy Commandant General Sheik Dr Hussain Yusuf Baban, the distributed uniforms do not include the remaining 600 new intakes.
The uniforms were handed over to Hisbah Zonal Commanders for distribution to their respective local governments.
With this development Hisbah officers are expected to be fully alert to their primary responsibilities’ as Islamic Guards to protect and defend the provisions of the law that established the Board.
Dr. Muhammad Faiz Bashir Harun commended Governor Dr Umar A Namadi FCA For his concern and support to Hisbah in the state.
Present at the distribution ceremony were the Secretary of the Board Barrister Mustapha Habu and some Hisbah officials.
Meanwhile the passing out parade of the five weeks training programme for Hisbah Guards at the Hisbah Board Headquarters’ Dutse took place on the same venue
The Parade was part of the intensive training programme outlined by the Hisbah Command for trained Hisbah Guards to be fully conversant with their duties as Islamic Guards of the Command
The Commandant General of Jigawa State Hisbah Board Dr Muhammad Fa’iz Bashir Haroun flanked by his Deputies and other top officials of the Board addressed the Guards on parade that positively touched on their welfare and the expectations required from them for greater Hisbah in Jigawa
Immediatly after the address, the Commandant General Inspected a guard of honour mounted by the deterchment of the Parade Guards
