The Honourable Member representing Sumaila/Takai Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Barrister Rabiu Ibn Yusuf, has commended the Executive Governor of Kano State, His Excellency Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, describing him as a hardworking, dedicated, and result-oriented leader whose commitment to the development of Kano State is evident in the numerous projects and programmes being executed across the state.
Barrister Rabiu Yusuf stated that Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf deserves recognition and appreciation for his tireless efforts in transforming Kano State through people-oriented policies and developmental initiatives. According to him, the governor’s administration has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to improving the living conditions of citizens through massive investments in critical sectors such as education, healthcare, infrastructure, agriculture, youth empowerment, and social welfare.
He noted that within a 3 year in office, Governor Abba has initiated and executed countless projects aimed at addressing the needs and aspirations of the people of Kano State.
These include the renovation and construction of schools, the rehabilitation of healthcare facilities, the provision of learning materials to students, and the implementation of programmes designed to improve access to quality education and healthcare services.
The federal lawmaker further highlighted the administration’s commitment to infrastructural development through the construction and rehabilitation of roads, drainage systems, and public facilities across various local government areas.
He observed that these projects have not only improved transportation and economic activities but have also enhanced the overall living standards of residents.
Barrister Rabiu Yusuf also praised Governor Abba’s efforts in youth and women empowerment, citing various empowerment programmes, skills acquisition initiatives, educational scholarships, and support schemes for small and medium-scale enterprises. According to him, these interventions have created opportunities for thousands of young people and women to become self-reliant and productive members of society.
He further acknowledged the governor’s commitment to human capital development through the sponsorship of students for local and international studies, support for vocational training, and initiatives aimed at reducing unemployment and poverty across the state.
The lawmaker emphasized that Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf’s administration has continued to prioritize the welfare of the people by implementing policies that promote social inclusion, economic growth, and sustainable development.
He described the governor as a leader who spends most of his time working to ensure that the dividends of democracy reach every corner of Kano State.
Barrister Rabiu Yusuf therefore called on the people of Kano State to continue supporting the administration of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, stressing that the governor’s achievements and dedication to public service have earned him the admiration and respect of citizens within and outside the state.
“Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf has demonstrated exceptional leadership, commitment, and dedication to the progress of Kano State.
Considering the numerous developmental projects, educational reforms, empowerment programmes, and infrastructural initiatives undertaken by his administration, he truly deserves appreciation and recognition as a workaholic governor committed to the service of humanity,” he said.
