An All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain in Kano State, Alhaji Rabiu Bichi, has described President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the most attentive leader to grassroots needs in Nigeria’s modern political history, citing the administration’s people-centred policies and engagement with ordinary citizens.
Bichi stated this while addressing journalists on Thursday in Kano, saying President Tinubu had demonstrated a strong commitment to inclusive governance by ensuring that government policies addressed the concerns of communities, traders, farmers and youths across the country.
According to him, the administration’s economic reforms, infrastructure development and social intervention programmes have been designed to improve the welfare of Nigerians and create opportunities for sustainable economic growth.
He said the government’s strategic economic policies were aimed at stabilising the economy and supporting small and medium-scale enterprises, while ongoing investments in roads, rail and power projects were improving connectivity and boosting economic activities.
The APC stalwart also commended the Federal Government’s efforts to enhance food security under the Renewed Hope Agenda, saying the rehabilitation of irrigation infrastructure and expansion of irrigable farmlands across the country’s geopolitical zones would strengthen agricultural productivity and reduce dependence on food imports.
He cited projects in the Hadejia-Jama’are River Basin and other federal irrigation schemes as evidence of the administration’s commitment to the agricultural sector.
Bichi further said President Tinubu had distinguished himself through regular engagement with citizens and responsiveness to public feedback, noting that adjustments to government policies based on concerns raised by Nigerians reflected a leadership style focused on inclusiveness and accountability.
He called on APC members in Kano State and across the country to intensify grassroots mobilisation ahead of the 2027 general elections, urging them to support the re-election of President Tinubu to enable his administration to consolidate its programmes and continue delivering on its development agenda.
