NWUK Vice-Chancellor Congratulates Prof. Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo on Appointment as Chancellor of Hausa Community in Europe

The Vice-Chancellor of Northwest University Kano, Professor Amina Salihi Bayero, has congratulated the Founder and President of MAAUN Group of Universities, Professor Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo, on his appointment as Chancellor of the Hausa Community in Europe.

The appointment, according to the Vice-Chancellor, is a well-deserved recognition of Professor Gwarzo’s remarkable contributions to the promotion of the Hausa language and culture, as well as his firm support for Hausa communities across the globe.

In a congratulatory message issued on behalf of the University Governing Council, Senate, members of staff and students, Professor Bayero described the appointment as a proof of Professor Gwarzo’s commitment to the preservation of Hausa cultural heritage and the advancement of the Hausa people.

She commended his dedication to education, cultural promotion and community development, noting that his efforts have continued to strengthen the identity, unity and global recognition of the Hausa people.

The Vice-Chancellor expressed confidence that Professor Gwarzo’s wealth of experience, leadership qualities and passion for education as well as cultural preservation would enable him to make meaningful contributions to the growth and development of the Hausa Community in Europe.

Professor Bayero wished him wisdom, strength and divine guidance as he assumes the new responsibility, while praying for a successful and impactful tenure.
