former Kano State Governor , senator Ibrahim Shekarau, has formally received his membership card of the All Progressives Congress in Kano State.
Shekarau made this known while addressing supporters during a visit to his constituency in Giginyu, where the event took place.
During the ceremony, he was accompanied by the Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, the Speaker of the Kano State House of Assembly, as well as other party stalwarts.
Speaking at the occasion, Shekarau expressed appreciation for the support shown by party members and reiterated his commitment to contributing to the growth of the APC in Kano and beyond, noting that the development reflects ongoing political realignments in the state.
The event marked a significant moment in the political landscape of the state, as the former governor was officially welcomed into the party at the grassroots level.
