His endorsement came on the heels of a marathon deliberatiom by the party’s caucus from Dawakin Tofa,Rimin Gado Tof Local Governments Areas which brought to the fore the consensus reached for the contest to be given to the legislator who was described to be the best choice. Going by his records and developmental projects he brought to the constituents, which there’s no doubt he will continue with the good work if elected for the 5th time.
However, the consesus reached would serve as a major catalyst according to political observers in dousing possible tension that would tend to divide supporters opinion ahead of the submission of contestants name to the Independent National Electoral Commission before the stipulated deadline expired.
It was also the contention of the constituents that with this development, the NNPP is poised to make a date with history in all the seats to be contested in Kano due to its wider appeal and acceptability.
