Peoples Redemption Party, PRP in Zaria has conducted it’s primary election under a peaceful atmosphere.
Declaring the house Representatives and state house of Assembly result, the returning officer MAL KABIR Ahmed said two candidates contested for the house of Representative and state house of Assembly
He added that federal house of representative representing Zaria city constituency mal Ubale Salmanduna and Yusuf Ahmed Wakili for state Assembly sit were unopposed .
MAL KABIR Ahmed declared mal Umar Faruq Danjuma as winner to represent Zaria kewaye constituency scoring eighteen votes to defeat Muhammad Abdullah who score ten votes .
MAL KABIR Ahmed pointed out that total number of vote is twenty eight, with 3 is invalid votes and the remaining three votes were absent.
Speaking shortly after the pronouncement of the result, Yusuf Ahmed Wakili and Umar Faruq Danjuma thanks Allah for the victory and promised to bring meaningful development if elected.
They stressed the need for eligible voters to ensure they collect permanent voters cards to exercise their civic right.
