A political pressure group known as Kashim Shettima Northern Youths Support Organization (NYOSO) has described the recently organized rally by the “North Central Progressive Youths” demanding the resignation of Kashim Shettima from the Vice presidential race as malicious, and self-centered.
In a statement signed by the National President and National, Publicity Secretary of the organization Honorable Alhaji Sani A Sani and Comrade Abdulkakadir Ahmad Jogana stated that the choice of Kashim Shettima as Vice presidential candidate is the best thing that happened to the north since Nigeria s return to democracy in 1999.
Alhaji Sani said that the entire people of the north supports Shettima and cautioned the youths to be careful and avoid being used by some few, frustrated and selfish politicians who would use them to achieve their personal interest.
Accordingly, the national president stated the era where politicians use religious, sectional or tribal inclinations to score cheep political goal is gone. Any attempt to bring confusion and disunity in our party that APC will be resisted, Sani has said.
The organization pledges to continue to support Tinubu/Shettima project come 2023.
They described Shettima as hardworking, God-fearing, humble, pragmatic, well experienced, and well suited for the seat of god-fearing, whom they cannot afford to lose
