Abuse of Social Justice , Major Cause of Nigeria’s Problem – Kawu Sumaila

The Former President Muhammadu Buhari’s Special Adviser on National Assembly and a three terms House of Representatives Member, Alhaji Abdurahman Kawu Sumaila says Abuse of Social justice by policy makers was the main cause of the Nations numerous challenges.

Alhaji Abduulrahman Kawu sumaila stated this during a Kano Correspondents Chapel Dialogue Series held in Kano.

He said failure of the Government to fully ensure Social Justice and Equitable Distribution of Resources, has resulted in the Insurgency and other Criminal atrocities that was effecting all the geo-political zones of the federation.

The former SSA to the president maintained that must Nigerians have since lost thrust and confidence in the government and as such they are pushed into carrying weapon’s to fend for themselves through Kidnappings in the North and uprisings in the Southeast.

The NNPP Senatorial Candidate for Kano South, Said Nigerians were no longer safe on the roads,in their homes, farms and even at hospitals, hence policy makers should review their mode and style of Leadership for Nigeria to prosper.

“You will agree with me that, Nigeria of today is not Roads or buildings they required from Government, rather they want to see equitable distribution of thisr resources and the correction of the lack of Social Justice that plunge them into largely criminalities they are doing I assure you that this would be corrected if I become senator come 2023.”

Kawu sumaila noted that if elected as senator representing kano south,his priorities would on Health, Education and water resources.

“had it been the successive Governments continue with the Normadic Education started by the Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida Regime where Fulanis are thought on educational values there wouldn’t be these kidnappings and other Criminal atrocities from them.”

“That is why, I strongly support the formation of the State Police as another means of tackling the problems, which means States would now have People’s of thrust that would manned their places to salvage the menace”.

Abdurahman Kawu Sumaila, also explained that crises in the Southeast needs urgent Government new approach of sitting with the Agitators in a Roundtable to discuss in an open manner what is their problems and do they wants.

Sumaila who is a PhD Holder in Political Science’s, said he is going to the Senate with his vast experience to ensure Social Justice among Nigerians
