The former speaker of the Kano state House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Yusif Abdullahi Ata says inconsistency amidst the leadership of APC in Kano is a malignant tumour threatening the overall, corporate survival of the party in the forthcoming general election.

Hon. Yusif Ata dropped the hints while speaking to newsmen, on Friday night in Kano.

He said lack of consistency and unsticking to one word, particularly when it comes to the issue of conflict resolution in the party, This, he said is one among the compounding issues which will undoubtedly push the party down the valley of political extinction, particularly in Kano.

“Given the prevailing situations going on in Kano’s APC, no amount of backtrack will rescue the party from the political Apocalypse-in-waiting in the forthcoming elections,” He said

Hon. Ata who’s among the contenders vying for the House of representatives candidacy for the Fagge federal constituency allegedly said that he was technically ousted from the race through the politically underhanded manoeuvre in the name of primary elections.

“He said, the primary election, was stage-managed in favour of his opponent, Hon. Aminu Sule.

According to Ata, although the delegates to cast their votes were shared based on consensus between Hon Goro, Ali Baba and himself, he alleges that 50 fake delegates, not elected or handpicked on consensus, most of them were not bonafide Fagge indigenes granted to Hon. Goro to partake in the preliminary in-house election.

“To testified that some of the fake delegates pictures who are not APC members and not Fagge indigenes went viral on social media He confirmed

Hon. Yusif Abdullahi Ata stressed that the development has left no one in doubt that some fishy of big magnitudes was politically perpetrated by the party leadership in casting him out of the race.

The former speaker concludes that consultations are still ongoing with stakeholders and party associates to find a viable solution to this political quagmire
