Kano State Governor Dr.Abdullahi Umar Ganduje has expressed his heartfelt condolence to the family over the passing of a renowned businessman and industrialist Alh.Uba Leader.
The Governor in a message delivered on his behalf by his deputy and gubernatorial flaqbearer Dr.Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna who led the State Government delegation to the funeral of the deceased described his death as a great loss not only to Kano State but to the entire country.
Ganduje who also commisserated with the business community on the death of the philanthropist said Alh.Uba Leader was among the businessmen who contributed to the development of the economy and making of Kano the commercial nerve centre of Northern Nigeria.
“He had lived a life of selfless service contributing to the humanity through his philanthropic activities creating jobs to the less privileged”.
The Governor prayed Almighty Allah to forgive his deeds,grant him Jannatul Firdaus and gives his family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
The State Government delegation comprised of the APC Gubernatorial running mate Alh.Murtala Sule Garo, Commissioners and other top government functionaries.
