Tolerance among political actors ahead of the 2023 elections has been identified as a key factor that would guarantee peaceful conduct of the next year’s elections.
The Executive Secretary of the National Human Rights Commission Chief Tony Ojukwu made this submission in Abuja, at a mediam roundtable to commemorate International Day of Tolerance.
Chief Ojukwu emphasized that the attacks on INEC facilities and campaign rallies is a violation of human rights capable of disenfranchising some Nigerians during Elections.

The National Coordinator International Federation of Ageing Nigeria IFAN Mr. Ike Willie-Nwobu, called on every to see himself or herself as a stakeholder in the good governance of the country.
Mr. Willie-Nwobu, emphasized that building tolerance and understanding was key to the Socio-economic development of the country.
