
The First Lady of Jigawa State,Ambassador Dr Hajiya Amina Umar A. Namadi, on Saturday led a major push for education and humanitarian support as she graced the official launch of the book “Talla Guba ko Zuma” at the Banquet Hall, Government House, Dutse.
The event, attended by government officials, education stakeholders and students, highlighted the importance of knowledge, literacy and intellectual development in the state.

The book launch was described as a significant contribution to promoting reading culture and critical thinking among young people.
Speaking at the occasion, the First Lady reaffirmed her commitment to advancing education in Jigawa, noting that investment in learning remains a cornerstone for sustainable development.

She stressed the need to support students with the tools required to excel academically and become responsible members of society.
In a practical demonstration of this commitment, she distributed a wide range of learning materials to students drawn from different parts of the state.
Beneficiaries expressed appreciation for the gesture, describing it as timely and impactful in enhancing their studies.
The event also featured a humanitarian intervention following a recent fire incident at the College of Health Technology, Jahun.
The First Lady donated mattresses to students affected by the disaster, providing relief and helping to restore comfort in their living conditions.

They commended her for combining advocacy with direct support to vulnerable groups.
