The Kano Hajj Reporters Forum has extended its heartfelt congratulations to Professor Sale Pakistan on his recent appointment as the Chairman of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON).
The appointment of Professor Pakistan, a seasoned academic and respected leader in religious affairs, has been met with widespread acclaim across the country.
In a statement released on Monday, the Forum commends President Tinubu for selecting an appointee with the depth of experience and integrity that Professor Pakistan embodies.
The Forum expresses confidence that his leadership will bring about significant improvements in the organization and coordination of Hajj operations in Nigeria.
The statement said the Forum are optimistic that Professor Sale Pakistan’s wealth of experience in both academic and religious sectors will play a pivotal role in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of NAHCON.
It further highlights that the appointment comes at a crucial time when the Commission needs to strengthen its processes and services to meet the growing expectations of Nigerian pilgrims.
The Kano Hajj Reporters Forum also pledged its support to the newly appointed chairman, assuring him of their cooperation in promoting transparency and accountability in the Commission’s activities.
The Forum urged Professor Pakistan to prioritize the welfare of Nigerian pilgrims and work towards making the Hajj experience more seamless and fulfilling for all.
Professor Sale Pakistan, a Professor of Islamic Studies, has been an active participant in religious education and interfaith dialogue in Nigeria.
His appointment to lead NAHCON is seen as a strategic move to infuse the Commission with fresh ideas and a renewed commitment to excellence.
The Forum concluded its message by praying for wisdom and guidance for Professor Pakistan as he assumes his new responsibilities.
