The Executive Chairman of the Kano State Pension Fund Trustees, Alhaji Habu Muhammad Fagge, has described Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf as a leader with a difference, commending his administration’s achievements as it marks three years in office.

In a congratulatory message issued on Monday, Habu Fagge said Governor Yusuf’s uncommon leadership style has played a significant role in steering the affairs of Kano State, noting that the administration’s philosophy is centered on the fair and equitable distribution of the dividends of democracy through the execution of projects across various sectors and communities.

He stated that since assuming office, the governor has initiated what he described as tremendous transformations in education, healthcare, infrastructure development and security, while also fostering unity by building bridges across political and ideological divides to ensure peace and stability in the state.

The Pension Fund Trustees chairman further highlighted the settlement of ₦32 billion out of the ₦48 billion backlog of gratuities owed to retirees as one of the landmark achievements of the administration, describing it as a feat unmatched by previous governments in the state.

While congratulating Governor Yusuf on the successful and peaceful celebration of the Eid-el-Kabir festivities, Habu Fagge urged residents to continue praying for the state, live peacefully with one another and support government policies and programmes aimed at advancing the development of Kano State.
