The Emir of Zazzau, , has paid a condolence visit to the family of the late Malama Ummulkhair, who was allegedly killed by hoodlums in Mararaban Jos, urging residents to remain calm and allow authorities to conclude investigations into the incident.
The emir, who was accompanied by members of the Zazzau Emirate Council, visited the bereaved family on Monday shortly after returning from official engagements in Abuja.

He was received at the family residence by the Wamban Dokon Zazzau and District Head of Rigacikun, Alhaji Ibrahim Sani Zubairu, alongside village heads and Islamic clerics from the district.
Speaking during the visit, Bamalli expressed deep sorrow over the incident and conveyed his condolences to the family, urging them to accept the loss as the will of Allah.
He prayed for the repose of the deceased, asking Allah to forgive her shortcomings, grant her Aljannatul Firdaus, and give her husband, children and other family members the strength and patience to bear the loss.
The emir also appealed to members of the public to remain peaceful and await the outcome of investigations and actions by relevant government authorities.
He cautioned against jungle justice or taking the law into one’s hands, stressing that lasting justice could only be achieved through due process, peaceful coexistence and unity.
Bamalli reaffirmed the Zazzau Emirate Council’s commitment to promoting peace and urged residents to continue supporting efforts aimed at maintaining law and order.
