The Assistant Inspector-General (AIG) of Police in charge of Zone One Headquarters, Kano, Garba Ahmed, has commended individuals and corporate organisations for supporting the renovation of the Zone One Police Headquarters in Kano.
Ahmed, in a statement issued by the Police Public Relations Officer of the Zone, DSP Abdullahi Hussaini, said the renovation had transformed the headquarters into a modern and conducive working environment for police personnel, thereby enhancing operational efficiency and service delivery.
The AIG, on behalf of the Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, expressed appreciation to the Chairman of AA Rano Nigeria Ltd., Alhaji Auwalu Abdullahi Rano, Alhaji Bashir Tabarakallah, Ghadco/Mamuda Group, POP-Cola Nigeria Ltd., the Chairman of Amasco International Ltd., Alhaji Mustapha Ado Muhammad, Alhaji Almu Kofar Mata, and other individuals and organisations for their financial and material contributions to the project.
He described their support as a demonstration of patriotism, corporate social responsibility and confidence in the Nigeria Police Force, adding that the improved infrastructure would boost the welfare and morale of officers and strengthen the operational capacity of the zone in the discharge of its constitutional responsibilities.
Ahmed reiterated that effective policing requires collective support from government, corporate organisations, community leaders and public-spirited individuals.
He assured that the Zone One Headquarters would maintain the renovated facility in line with the vision of the Inspector-General of Police and continue to provide efficient policing services to the public.
