Nigerian content creator Mutari Hamidu, popularly known as MK Tecnic, is charting a new course in the digital media space by embracing purpose-driven content designed to educate, inspire, and encourage positive social values.
After gaining recognition through comedy videos, MK Tecnic has gradually introduced a fresh style of content that combines engaging storytelling with messages focused on character development, personal responsibility, respect, and self-improvement.
Speaking on the inspiration behind the transition, MK Tecnic said he believes content creators have a unique opportunity to shape conversations and influence society positively through the messages they share online.
“My goal is to create content that people can enjoy while also taking away lessons that can positively influence their everyday lives. Entertainment is important, but creating value for viewers is even more meaningful,” he said.
The creator explained that his recent videos are intentionally designed to encourage reflection, promote positive behaviour, and motivate audiences to make better personal and social decisions.
Observers of Nigeria’s digital content industry say the growing shift toward educational and value-based content reflects the changing expectations of audiences, many of whom are seeking meaningful and impactful stories alongside entertainment.
As social media continues to expand its influence, MK Tecnic’s evolving creative direction highlights how digital platforms can be used not only for entertainment but also as powerful tools for education, awareness, and positive community engagement.
