The First Lady of Jigawa State, Amb. Dr. Amina Umar A. Namadi, FCA Danmodi, has expressed her condolences to the people of Gumel Emirate and the entire people of Jigawa State over the death of the Emir of Gumel, Alhaji Dr. Ahmed Muhammad Sani, CON.
In a condolence message, the First Lady described the death of the traditional ruler as a painful and significant loss to the people of Gumel Emirate, Jigawa State and beyond.
Amb. Dr. Amina Namadi condoled with the deceased’s family, members of the Gumel Emirate Council and the people of Gumel over the loss of the respected monarch.
She prayed to Almighty Allah to forgive the shortcomings of the late Emir and grant him eternal rest in Jannatul Firdaus.
The First Lady also prayed to Allah to grant the family of the deceased, the Gumel Emirate and the entire people of Jigawa State the strength and patience to bear the loss.
She further urged the people of the emirate to remain united and continue to uphold the values of peace, harmony and mutual respect associated with the late monarch.
“May Almighty Allah have mercy on him, forgive his shortcomings and make Jannatul Firdaus his final abode. May He grant his family and the people of Gumel Emirate and Jigawa State the fortitude to bear this great loss. Ameen,” she prayed.
