Traffic was disrupted for several hours on Tuesday following the overturning of a vehicle at the Dangi Underpass in Kano metropolis.
The incident, which occurred along the busy corridor, left the vehicle obstructing part of the roadway and forced motorists to slow down as they navigated the affected section.
Eyewitnesses said the vehicle overturned beneath the underpass, but the exact circumstances that led to the crash were yet to be established.
There were also no immediate official details on casualties, as efforts were ongoing to determine whether anyone was injured or killed in the incident.
The crash temporarily affected the smooth movement of vehicles through the area, although traffic gradually returned to normal after the obstruction was addressed.
Motorists using the route were advised to exercise caution, observe traffic regulations and avoid excessive speed, particularly around busy intersections and underpasses.
Authorities are expected to establish the cause of the crash as further details emerge.
