The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps Zamfara State Command has assured to partner with the Nigrrian Road Transport Employers Association in the fight against insecurity, crimes and terrorism.
Commandant A A Sparks, the state Commandant of the Corps Athanasius Sparks stated this at the command headquarters in Gusau while receiving a delegation from the novel Association.
He expressed gratitude to the leadership of the Union for the efforts they have made in complimenting the dreams and vision of the state government in making sure that the state is purged of all forms of crimes and insecurity.
A A Sparks charged them to involve security in all facet of their operations and also to avail the Corps with intelligence reports in order to prevent movements of illicit items and illegal arms across the state.
Speaking earlier, the Chairman of the association, Aminu Shehu Danfulani thank the Commandant for the audience granted to the Association and their contributions in the fight against insecurity and criminalities in the state.
He said the union is a novel organization which is set to commence operation across the fourteen local Government Areas of the state.
Danfulani however said that association is seeking for a total synergy with the Corps during its operations in order to prevent mischief makers from moving across the state with illicit and illegal items.
