Ahead of Eid-el Fitr and hitch-free Sallah festivities in the state, the state commandant, Nigeria S,security And Civil Defence Corps Kano Command, Commandant Idris Adamu Zakari has approved the deployment of 3,023 of its personnel across the state.
The operatives were drawn from various departments, units, divisions,s and area commands including undercover officers, and have been charged to ensure maximum security and respond to any security threat across nooks and crannies in the state throughout the festive period.
Sequel to this, special attention will be given to strategic places comprising Eid grounds, Malls/recreational centers, and most importantly critical national assets and infrastructure.
While the state commandant wishes Muslim Ummah joyful Sallah Celebrations, the good people of Kano are hereby enjoined to report suspicious movements of miscreants to the nearest security formation for prompt action.
