The Nigeria Security And Civil Defence Corps, Kano Command under the pragmatic leadership of Commandant Adamu Idris Zakari fsi has warned petroleum marketers to desist from illegal diversion of petroleum motor spirit.
This was contained in a media statement made available to journalists in kano by the public relations officer of the command  DSC Ibrahim Idris Abdullahi.
” The Command observed with dismay the attitude of some ungrateful petroleum marketers of illegally diverting premium motor spirit (PMS) meant to be sold at the approved 165 Naira per litre.”
He said the Attitude of these  marketers is illegal and amounts to economic sabotage.
“This will never be condoned nor tolerated. Based on this, the NSCDC Kano command has since spread its intelligence network, and if anybody is caught in this illegality they shall be made to face the full wrath of the law.”
“Conversely, the Corps wishes to show appreciation to the right thinking marketers for their cooperation, understanding and the sales of the petroleum products to the buyers at the right price. The attitude of these patriotic marketers is worthy of emulation and therefore highly commendable. Keep it up!”
