The out going Kano Commissioner of police CP Sama’ila Dikko says he has never regretted joining the Nigerian Police in the last 35 years he served .
CP Sama’ila Dikko stated this while addressing officers and men of the Kano command during his farewell lectures at police headquarters Bompai.
The CP who have reached the retirement years of service advice the serving police to always adhere to the ethics of the profession and should shun any form of corruption.
The out going CP appreciated the support and cooperation he received during his tenure from the senior management staff of the Kano command, and officers and Men , which lead to the success recorded in terms of security in Kano.
CP Sama’ila Dikko urged officers and men of the Nigerian police to be more dedicated and committed in the discharge of their duties.
He applauded the synergy that existed between security agencies in kano , stressing that that was the secret behind peaceful coexistence in Kano state.
” I charge you to be on the alert at all times ,because criminals are always trailing you, and they will take you off guard if you not on the alert at all times”
CP Sama’ila Dikko Commended the tireless efforts of the Inspector General of police for fine tuning modalities of ensuring that the welfare of the police was being enhanced.
