The Commandant of the Nigeria security and civil defense corps in kano commandant Adamu Idris Zakari said the command has apprehended electricity vandals in the Kura local government of Kano state.
The Commandant stated this while briefing journalists in kano.
He said the arrest was sequel to a formal report by the authority of Kura general hospital to the NSCDC in the Kura local government on the recent vandalization of some electricity facilities in the area.
Commandant Adamu Idris Zakari explained that following the report the personnel of the corp swang into action and were able to apprehend two suspects named surajo Tanimu and Ghali Ali with 8 meters of Armo Cable in their possession.

The commandant further explains that another 32 KVA cable wire was also recovered by his personnel on patrol at Gaya Local Government Area of Kano state.
He maintained that the suspect abandoned the stolen cable wires when they sited the personnel of NSCDC on patrol at Gaya local government area.

Commandant Adamu Idris Zakari noted that the command would not relent in ensuring that the culprit was being presented before a court of law for prosecution.
He advised the general public to be extra vigilant and should report any suspicious movement to the relevant authorities.
