The state commandant, NSCDC Kano command, Commandant Idris Adamu Zakari fsi, has assured synergy with other sister agencies in the state with the aim of ensuring security of lives and peoperties.
The Commandant stated this while eceiving in his office the Commandant of the Nigerian Navy logistics College Dawakin Tofa Kano.
The college Commandant, Commodore Usman Mainasara Bugaje was at the NSCDC state headquarters for a courtesy visit.
Commandant Idris Adamu Zakari fsi welcomed the Navy college Commandant and assured him of the Corps readiness to work in conjunction with the Nigerian Navy for providing security in Kano.
” The peace and security being enjoyed in Kano, apart from citizens prayers is because of the synergy existing among all the security agencies in the state. I’m so happy to receive you and the NSCDC is delighted to tap a lot from the college resources”. Commandant Zakari fsi concluded.
Earlier in his remarks, Commodore Usman Mainasara Bugaje of the Nigerian Navy logistics college said he was at the civil defence state headquarters to seek for a hand of partnership and collaboration. ” We need to do more in sharing information and intelligence”, Commodore Bugaje said.
The college Commandant also pointed out that the Navy Institute has been on existence for over 30 years and was recently relocated to Kano from Owerrinta Abia State.
The college functions as monotechnic training Navy personnel and is awarding National Diploma(ND) in Accounting, Business Administration, office technology management etc. It also has an accreditation with the national board for technical education (NBTE).
