Kwara NSCDC command has emphasized commitment on tackling rail track vandals in the state.
The Kwara state spokesperson of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps coMr Olasunkanmi Ayeni atated this while parading the suspects before newsmen in Kwara.
He said the incident occurred on the 26th of August this year.and suspects arrested are Waheed Ganiyu and Mojeed Afolabi.
“Kwara state command arrested the two suspects over alleged vandalisation of rail track at Ogbondoroko in Asa local government area of the state.”
He said the suspects are all aware of the efforts of the Federal Government to put the rail system into use .
Mr Ayeni explained that some criminals do not believe in this visionn , adding that they are hell-bent in making efforts of the Federal Government a waste.
He added that the Command will remain vigilant to ensure the criminal elements who want to make Nigeria uncomfortable are brought to Justice.
